Supposedly, the Illuminati were founded on May 1, 1776 in Ingolstadt Bavaria by Adam Weishaupt. These men were offshoots of the Enlightenment-free thinkers. Tied to the Masons in Germany, the Illuminati garnered the best and the brightest of their time to join their group. However, by 1785, the Barvarian Illuminati ceased to exist due to internal strife. Or did they....?
